LOCATION CHANGE FOR FEBRUARY 23

     Due to a funeral being held at Cumberland Presbyterian the morning of Tuesday, Feb. 23, the following classes will be relocated FOR THIS DAY ONLY to the sanctuary of 2nd Baptist Church located at 1100 North Frankfort (same place we used in November):

 

     Pre-K                       11:45 - 12:15

     K-2nd Elem.            11:45 - 12:30

     3rd - 5th Elem.        12:45 - 1:30

     General Music          1:45 - 2:30

 

     All other classes - band, peewee orchestra, and beginning orchestra - will meet at CUMBERLAND PRESBYTERIAN at the regular time.

 

NON-PROFIT STATUS
     It is official.  We have received the letter for the IRS approving our application for tax exempt status - better known as 501(c)3.  So now contributions - be they cash, instruments, property, or whatever - made to ACME are tax-deductible.  And the best thing is that it is retroactive as of the date we incorporated in Arkansas - November 5, 2007!

     I want to thank (and list as a supporter) Boyd Barton.  A former CPA, Boyd has been a good friend for many years, and when he was asked to help with the application process, he gave his time.  How good was his help?  Well, our application was accepted without need of further explanations or reviews or probations.  Outside of the prayers, Boyd Barton was the big contributor to that happening.  Thank you, Boyd.

     And thanks to all the ACME families and supporters that have prayed and believed in the organization.  The music will sound even sweeter!

 

 

NEW MAILING ADDRESS

          ACME now has a new mailing address by way of a post office box.  Our box number is 9068 with 72811 zip code.  It is ready for use immediately.

          This is just another step toward the process of establishing a nonprofit status.
