BANDTASTIC-STRINGSATION

      Arkansas Center for Music Education (ACME) will host the annual Bandtastic and Stringsation clinic Friday and Saturday, March 5 & 6, 2010, in Russellville, Arkansas.  This event is open to any home or private schooled student who plays a band or orchestra instrument and has finished at least one school year of instruction.  Band and orchestra students will rehearse separately with guest clinicians who are specialists in their field.
     The clinic will begin with rehearsals on Friday, March 5, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:30 with a dinner break at 5:30. Rehearsals resume Saturday, March 6, at 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and the clinic will conclude with a 1:30 p.m. concert for families and friends.
     The cost is $10 per student, which includes the Friday evening meal provided by ACME.  Pizza and drink will be available for lunch Saturday for $4 per person.  Optional t-shirts must be ordered by February 24.  The cost of the t-shirts is $10.
